The cellular & molecular research laboratory is part of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery, University Hospital Giessen and Marburg, Campus Marburg, and is located in the departments main building in the center of Marburg. Our research is focused on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying the development and the progress of head & neck cancer. Particularly we are interested in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC), representing the major and most devastating tumor entity in this area.
